Marilyn Crane, Trailer Owner and Groomer

Marilyn has been grooming animals for 23 years and holds a Master Groomer certification. She started out in a small dog grooming shop called Valeway Poodle Shoppe in Hamburg, NY, in 1985. She loved it so much she decided to make it her career. In 1992, Marilyn started working at Jamco Dog Boarding and Training Center as the groomer and also began doing obedience training.

In 1993, Marilyn opened her own grooming shop in Angola, NY, called "Wash-n-Groom Doggie Saloon." She sold it in 1998 to relocate to Georgia. While in Georgia, Marilyn incorporated a Non-Profit Organization called Camden Animal Rescue Team (C.A.R.T. for short), a no-kill animal rescue. She funded it solely on her own and sucessfully rescued and adopted out 88 animals.

In 2003 Marilyn moved to Murfreesboro where she groomed for an animal clinic before joining the Love Thy Pet ® team in 2006. Animals are Marilyn's passion. She does a lot of volunteer work for animal rescue organizations and is active with P.A.W.S., Rutherford County's animal shelter.
